Hi,
It is time for us to move from Australia, we are therefore selling our beloved van.
The good thing with this Van is that it is a Campervan AND a 4WD vehicle. You can then really enjoy travelling and go wherever - bitumen or gravel road, and even 4wd roads!
We?ve been travelling from western australia to tasmania and we loved our trip and our van.
You can check a video made by the previous owner just before we bought it. Nothing has really changed except the kitchen where there is now a bigger fridge.

Anyway, let?s first talk about the van itself.
Technical information:
The van has just been serviced in a garage (belts, oil, fluids and filters have been checked). No minor or major failures happened during our trip. This car is a heavy duty vehicle, very high and robust on the road. The engine is in good condition and it is the first engine in the vehicle. The bodywork is good, no big cracks, nothing on the windscreen, the roof is clean.
This is a 2.4L Turbo diesel mitsubishi DELICA from year 1990. Almost 180000 Km at the Tachometer.
The car is equiped with an immobiliser.
Fuel consumption is:
10.5L on highway.
11L in 4wd mode on most of the gravel roads
11.5L on the hilly roads of Tasmania.
Max speed is 100km but I would probably advise to drive at 90 only ;)
Van comes with a Kenwood CD radio tuner. You can connect your Ipod and enjoy your awesome music on the road. Or just listen to the news on the radio.
There is a roof rack (brand Rhino Rack) which you can put the big metallic storing box full of tools the car comes with on. You can also decide not to take it. Otherwise the list of tools is following.
The life inside:
The van has been converted into a cosy camper van. The inside of the van is equipped with a removable bed (see the pictures). I am 1.84m and slept very well in it. We were two and I reckon we had enough space to sleep. There 5 storing spaces under and over the bed so then you can store your clothes and personal belongings.
Sliding windows on the back are equipped with metallic mosquito nets, which are VERY useful during summer.
However for the winter time we can arrange to leave our sleeping bag or doona, sheets and pillows if you want.
A 3rd battery (brand Century) and a converter installed under the bed allows you to use 240v devices like computers, lights, battery chargers, fans...and this for more than enough time. You recharge the battery when you drive so you?ll never run out of battery.
The 3 roof lights are otherwise good enough during the dark period of the day.
The kitchen:
There is a very nice kitchen corner at the back of the van. The kitchen is equipped with a double stove and a gas tank. A 35L mobicool fridge and heaps of space in the wooden cupboard for the food and anything you wanna store (see pix).
The van comes with heaps of cooking and bbq tools, some condiments and plates.
